The Marcum MicroCap Conference was conceived in 2012 to provide a forum for smaller entrepreneurial public companies with less than $500 million dollars in market capitalization to tell their stories and network with the investment community. There was a void of such platforms in the marketplace at that time, stemming from the recession of 2008. The microcap community responded, with 60 presenting companies and 800 attendees turning out that first year.
Today, the Marcum MicroCap Conference attracts more than 2000 participants annually and approximately 150 presenting companies from seven principal industry sectors. A full agenda of company presentations, discussion panels on pressing topics of the day, one-on-one investor meetings, keynote remarks by nationally prominent speakers, exhibits by industry service providers, and a gala reception gives attendees a comprehensive opportunity to develop or expand their relationships within the microcap community.
